Are you confident? Do you trust in your abilities? Are you able to stand by your judgement? All these entail to self confidence. Having high self confidence is usually adsociated to greater success, joy and satisfaction. Well its not to everyone that self confidence comes easy, others struggle (me included😢). Let me some tips that i found helps gives you that push.

     Speak up for yourself.
Don't become a doormat. Speak up for yourself and have a stand, especially if you are being taken advantage of or its something unpleasant. Don't be swayed by the crowd, have an opinion and stick to it.

Keep learning and trying new things.
Challenge yourself. Find new things to learn and when you become successful, it boosts your confidence. You can try a new language too, it's said to make you smarter.

Look to others for inspiration.
Find someone who motivates you to better yourself. Someone who is good at what they do. You can also read inspiring books or listen to inspiring podcasts to assist you.

       Embrace fear.
When you lack confidence, you tend to be fearful. You fear rejection, failure and humiliation. But when you embrace the fear, you can find ways on how to control it and suppress it.

Show confidence in your body language.
People who are confident in themselves elude a certain aura of strength. You can easily tell a confident person by just looking at them. How you sit, walk and non-verbal cues tell a lot about someone. Do not show what you are feeling on the inside on your facial expressions , try and keep it in. Maintain a straight posture when standing and sitting, and most of all, SMILE.

         Trust your gut.
Ever had a feeling about something and it turns out to be exactly that, thats intuition. Trust yourself more and take your own advice, but that does not mean you should not take advice from someone else. Just give yourself more credit.

Well those are some of the ways to boost your confidence if you are affected by the inferiority complex. Why not try them out and see if they help you out.
